You have many contacts in your AOL Mail address book. If you would like to use those self-same contacts in another email service, export the address book data out of AOL Mail. The format you select depends on the preference of the alternate email service provider.
Generating an AOL Mail Contacts File
When you export contacts from the AOL Mail address, the available file formats import the contacts into most email programs and services, either directly or through a translator.
To save your AOL Mail book to a file:
You can import the CSV file into most other email programs (import CSV into Outlook and import CSV into Gmail). Although each email service differs, generally, you import the saved file by trying to find the Import option within the email program or within the address book or contacts list that's employed by the e-mail program. once you find it, select Import and choose the exported file of your contacts to transfer them to the e-mail service.
Fields and get in touch with Details Included in an Exported CSV File
AOL Mail exports all the fields a contact has in your AOL Mail address book to the CSV (or plain text or LDIF) file. This includes first and surname, AIM nickname, phone numbers, street addresses, and everyone email addresses.
Import Contacts from another Program
If you've got a CSV file that contains contacts from another email application, like Outlook or Gmail, import those contacts into your AOL Mail account.
